Accessibility and inclusion

Help us prepare the right support

AdventureRama welcomes guests with different access requirements. Suitability and assistance depend on the individual, the activity and the safe operation of the equipment.

Contact us before visiting

Tell the team about mobility, sensory, communication or support requirements so suitable options can be discussed in advance.

Physical access

Access varies between departments and individual attractions. Some activities require climbing, balance, grip strength, independent movement or correct harness fitting.

Sensory considerations

Venues can be busy, bright and noisy. Ask about quieter visiting periods or other practical adjustments that may be available.

Support people

Guests who need hands-on assistance should discuss support-person access and supervision arrangements with the venue beforehand.

Service animals

Contact the venue before arrival to discuss safe access for service animals around food, courts and active-play areas.

Medical requirements

Staff can explain activity requirements but cannot provide personal medical clearance. Seek professional advice when unsure.

Safety restrictions still apply. Reasonable assistance can be considered, but age, height, weight, harness, supervision and operational safety requirements cannot always be altered.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before your visit

Do I need to book in advance?

Advance booking is recommended, particularly for weekends, holidays, parties and activities with limited session capacity. Walk-in availability cannot be guaranteed.

What should participants wear?

Wear comfortable active clothing. Jumperama and Cyberpunk Ninja require approved grip socks. Clip ’N Climb requires secure, closed sports shoes. Tie back long hair and remove jewellery or loose objects where required.

Can I bring my own food?

Outside-food conditions vary by department and booking type. Party bookings may generally bring a birthday cake and water, but other food must be approved. Contact the venue about dietary requirements before your booking.

Can parents or caregivers enter activity areas?

Supervision requirements vary. Adults may enter some areas to assist children, but participation, footwear, wristband and safety requirements may still apply. Follow staff instructions.

What happens if a participant is injured or unwell?

Stop participating and notify staff immediately. Do not begin or continue an activity if illness, injury or a medical condition makes participation unsafe.

Are activities suitable during pregnancy?

High-impact, climbing and obstacle activities may not be suitable during pregnancy. Cyberpunk Ninja and Clip ’N Climb should not be used while pregnant. Seek medical advice when deciding whether any physical activity is appropriate.

What if we arrive late?

Late arrival may shorten your session and could cause a missed safety briefing. Sessions may not be extended because of late arrival, especially when another booking follows.

Can the venue refuse participation?

Yes. Staff may restrict or refuse participation when safety requirements are not met, the activity is at capacity, a participant appears unfit to take part or behaviour puts people or property at risk.

Terms and conditions

Important booking and participation conditions

Some conditions vary by department, booking type, package or promotion. The conditions shown on your booking confirmation take precedence where they are more specific.

Bookings, payment and deposits

The deposit, balance due date and minimum guest charge may vary between activities and packages. Customers are responsible for checking their booking details and paying the remaining balance by the stated deadline.

Cancellations, changes and refunds
All applicable bookings

Cancellation and change conditions depend on the activity, package and notice provided. Deposits or prepaid amounts may be non-refundable where spaces, staff, catering or facilities have been reserved. No refund is normally available for no-shows, unused time, late arrival, change of mind or removal for unsafe behaviour.

If AdventureRama cancels an activity, affected customers will be offered the remedy required by the booking conditions and applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Party numbers, catering and decorations
Party and group bookings

Final numbers must be supplied within the timeframe stated for the booking. Charges may be based on confirmed or minimum guest numbers. Catering additions, dietary requirements and menu changes must be arranged in advance.

All guests

Guests are responsible for their belongings. AdventureRama is not responsible for loss or damage except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Guests may be charged for deliberate or negligent damage to facilities or equipment.
